The Tesla Model X, the fastest SUV in the world. This high-end, 100% electric family SUV produced by the American manufacturer Tesla was developed on the same platform as the Model S sedan. It is manufactured in the same factory in Fremont, California and can accommodate up to seven people, in three rows of seats.

It is currently the most powerful production electric SUV with the longest range. In terms of safety, according to the firm, the Model X would be the safest SUV in terms of frontal and side collisions. At the time of its announcement, it would thus be twice as safe as the best SUV in the category.

It uses the same P100D engine from the Model S sedan. “P” for “Performance” (special engine), “100” for “100 kilowatts” of battery, and “D” for “Dual motor”, a motor for the wheels front, another for the rear wheels. The set develops the equivalent of 611 horsepower and reaches 250 km / h in top speed. In the end, this simply gives the fastest SUV in the world at start-up: up to 3.1 seconds to go from 0 to 100 km/h.

Fully charged, the Model X will travel 350 to 400 kilometers without any difficulty!
